Attach a voided check or view your MICR information and Routing number under Account Details in Digital Banking.
Submit the form to your HR department or benefits provider.
Do I need to enroll in Early Pay?
No, If you have direct deposit set up with Shell FCU, you’re automatically eligible for Early Pay whenever we receive your payment details ahead of schedule.
Will my deposit always arrive two days early?
Not always. Early Pay depends on when your employer or benefits provider submits deposit details. Deposits may arrive two days early, one day early, or on your regular payday. Some reasons why your deposit might not arrive early include:
Your employer recently set up your direct deposit for the first time.
Your deposit is ineligible (e.g., bank-to-bank transfers, mobile check deposits, or person-to-person payments).
Your employer or benefits provider sent payroll files later than usual.
How does Early Pay work?

The Federal Reserve sends the deposit information to Shell FCU.
Instead of waiting for the scheduled deposit date, we will credit your account up to two days early!
What time are deposits posted?
Deposits depend on when we receive the deposit details. We process deposits throughout the day as soon as they are received.
Will loan payments qualify for Early Pay?
No, Early Pay only applies to payroll, government, and pension payments—not loan payments.
Will deposits originated in Digital Banking, or directly with Shell FCU, qualify for Early Pay?
No, these would be considered bank-to-bank transfers or person-to-person payments, which follow a different processing schedule.
Can I opt out of Early Pay?
No, Early Pay is an automatic feature for all qualifying direct deposits at Shell FCU.
What if my deposit doesn’t arrive early?
If we don’t receive your deposit details ahead of time, your credit will be posted on your regularly scheduled date. Shell FCU is not responsible for NSF fees or penalties resulting from transactions made before your funds arrive.
